Rachel Rayburn and Kathleen Reff received a grant to improve public discussion on drugs and drug policy

Rachel Rayburn, assistant professor of public policy, and Kathleen Reff (senior, legal studies) received a service engagement grant from the Indiana Campus Compact for a project to stimulate community and university discussion on the topic of drugs, drug use, and policy decisions.

With Ohio putting marijuana legalization on the ballot in November, the discussion is very timely and necessary. The grant will support events during October (National Substance Abuse Prevention Month) to launch an informed dialogue happening.
