John Niser and Martha Coussement collaborate with world-wide faculty on hospitality program curriculum alignment at the Hotel Schools of Distinction biannual meeting

John Niser, professor and chair of hospitality and tourism management, and Martha A. Coussement, assistant professor of hospitality and tourism management, collaborated with faculty members from around the world on curriculum alignment at the biannual meeting of Hotel Schools of Distinction (HSD) in Miami, Florida.

The focus of the meeting was aligning hospitality and tourism management program learning outcomes and the graduate talent pool with industry needs.

The group discussed results from an industry session held in Spain with leading international companies in the field of online distribution, marketing and revenue management who encouraged our programs to prepare students for this rapidly evolving sector.

IPFW’s Hospitality and Tourism Management program is part of the HSD organization.
